At T&D PowerSkills, we’re committed to providing you with the highest quality product possible to train lineworkers in the electric utility industry. To fulfill that promise to you, we routinely update our training material units, and we are excited to announce that an update to the RIGGING 2 unit is complete, and will be available to you very soon. This unit complements our recently updated RIGGING 1 unit, giving your trainers the tools they need to deliver better, safer, and more effective instruction than ever before. The new RIGGING 2 unit has been updated to comply with the latest OSHA regulations and industry best practices. It features new high-definition video and illustrations, 3D simulations, and modern equipment.

How do I get my update?

LMS Customers:

The new unit will be available in the LMS on Monday, June 30, 2025. If a student has already started the RIGGING 2 course, they will continue with the original unit. Students who have not yet started the RIGGING 2 course, or who are newly enrolled in the course, will automatically be enrolled in the new unit.

SCORM Customers:

Your SCORM file will be updated to the new RIGGING 2 unit automatically on Thursday, July 31, 2025. This will give you ample time to prepare your students for the new unit, because all courseware will be completely updated on that date. 

DVD Customers:

Your new training unit will be mailed to you the week of June 30, 2025. You’ll receive a DVD copy of the video, one student workbook, and one instructor’s guide. Please discard your former RIGGING 2 DVD and replace it with the new one.

 Customers with reproduction rights will receive a link to download a printable PDF of the updated RIGGING 2 student workbook and instructor’s guide. 

Finally, we encourage you to take stock of how many workbooks you may need to replace and contact us to place an additional workbook order. Remember that orders of over 100 workbooks will receive a 10% discount. For questions regarding this update, ordering workbooks, or anything else, please call our office at (318) 767-5802.
