About T&D PowerSkills

T&D PowerSkills is a 78-title video and workbook lineman apprenticeship training program geared to instruct electric utility lineworkers with up-to-date, safety-related work practices and technical skills related to the installation, maintenance, and removal of transmission and distribution systems.

All titles have been updated to meet current Federal OSHA regulations. The powerline training program is available in both instructor-led and online configurations, and can be customized-on-demand.

Salt Lake Community College, Salt Lake City, Utah, selected T&D PowerSkills to support their Electric Power Technology curriculum. SLCC will be using Program digital files on their internal LMS.

Date: April 11, 2013

Freeport McMoRan, an international mining company based in Arizona, has selected T&D PowerSkills to provide a newly developed lineworker training program for all U.S. mining sites. They will implement the ‘Hybrid’ delivery model:instructor-led classes using DVD’s and Workbooks, further supported by the on-line, Learning Management System with self-paced training, remotely accessible through the internet.
